Blog - http://blog.getfiregpg.org/2010/06/07/firegpg-discontinued/ Turned on a few friends to this who use gmail and only wish to use webmail (no email client). Anything else like this that will encrypt gmail and/or other webmail like hotmail, yahoo, etc ?
Not from the Browser as far as I am aware, but you can always have a look at the Enigmail add-on for Thunderbird if you were so inclined You would just need to set up the mail accounts of course Enigmail
Hey There Thanks but i already use that setup. The vast majority of the public (including my contacts ) haven't grasped email security yet which is why i'm trying to find something easy to recommend to my friends and other contacts to use. I was using comodo secure email until realizing that is doesn't work with pgp , only certificates. However, i have found a wonderful program that uses gpg and is designed for the newbie. Initial testing is very positive and makes sending and receiving encrypted email through webmail and web interface very easy And it's "free" to boot!
