    hi all,

Ive been using firefox for along time since at least 9.8. I know firefox uses the Local host and connects to random ports when i connect to the net, but today i noticed this while using 'TCPview from www.systerinternals.com', > 'Local host: 1434 udp ms-sql-m' while connected to the net

Ms-sql-m 1434 - i think is Microsoft-SQL-Monitor, but my firewall has blocked this from the net. So my question is why is Firefox accessing this port?

I have also checked my system for the slammer worm using a F-secure tool, and it found nothing.

    Thanks for all replys
