Moved the wife's company from one location to new location over the weekend.

Filemaker Pro database that is opened from a mapped drive on a Windows 2000 Server from an XP machine running ESET 3.7.

Everything was fine when we shut the systems down on Friday afternoon.

Got everything moved over the weekend, and computers finished being set back up on the internet Monday (waited most of the day for the phone company to do 10 minutes worth of work, but....) and once ESET updated the definitions, FileMaker Pro access has crawled.

Spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening and part of today trying various things, and bottom line is if ESET is disabled on the XP client launching FileMaker Pro, access to the database is as fast as it ever was. Re-enabling ESET immediately brings the database access crawling.

    Ideas?

Uninstall and complete re-install of the ESET product?
