o_O Hey, either you are good or as old as I am. The Viet Nam bit gave it away however. Stop and think, Viet Nam is a history lesson for those about to enter college. Here are some more:

    (1) In todays gas, what won't you find that was in the gas of the 1960's?

    (2) Excluding Elvis, who was the individual with the longest stint on the Top Billboard list, during that era?

    (3) What was the median price for a three bedroom two and a half bath, two car attached garage, on a half acre lot, home in the late 1950's or early 1960's?

    (4) What age did you have to be to vote in 1962?

    (5) What does the term reel to reel mean to you?

    (6) What was the name of the company who made the first Jeep?

    (7) How long would it have taken to fly from San Francisco to Hawaii in 1958 and why?

( What do the terms Concord and Stretch Eight mean to you?

    (9) At what age could you drive solo in 1963?

    (10) What do the names Trigger or Bullet mean to you?

    O.K. some one else's turn!

    Thanks
    Wildman

Well being a Brit I only know a couple of 'em....the Jeep was made by Willys... I know because I had one...bought and Registered to me in 1960..built in 1942...it's history took it to Anzio, Monte Cassino and finishing up in Dusseldorf fully reconditioned with spade, pick, (Which I still have), Gerry-can, 12foot whip arial, Standard Green with all the American Div. insignia and the white star on the bonnet (Hood) and it cost me to buy £112.00.....a snip....loved it....did all my courting in it.....and wish I still had it...worth about £4.500 now... :D

I think the answer to (1) was Lead.

    (5) Was a Grundig Tape Recorder, made some fair Blues Harp and guitar tapes on one of those with a now long gone mate....:'(

I know you said (Youngsters) but I couldn't resist boasting about my 'Go anywhere, do anything, cool looking, smoothdriving, bird pulling, eye-catching, JEEP'.....God was that 44 years ago?...it only seems like yesterday... :D :D

    Cochise,
