After having some fun with Nick of SuperAntiSpyware over their choice of a beetle for the System Tray Icon. I thought it would be fun to see what some peoples favorite security software icons are. No arguments though please so the thread doesn't get closed. Here's a few of mine.

ThreatFire. I like the fire icon.
Zone Alarm. New one looks cool.
Avast. I just love that little spinning ball with the a in it.

    this forum is biased!
prevx is the only taskbar icon i like to see open at the moment :)

i also like AVG's taskbar icon, quite simple yet stylish and colourful.

Nothing wrong with these ones to me, but only the one next to the clock is ugly.

I like seeing the Returnil icon but maybe that is just because I like the program so much. ;)

As long as it's not another ugly icon à la Windows95 or one with only 2 colors or less, it should be fine.

I like them all equally. They have their own unique look which is better than having four shields, in my opinion.

The taskbar icon can be hidden when snapping through the settings.

Bolding by me. That's what it looks like to me too, a square cheese pizza with 5 slices of pepperoni :p. I really like Sandboxie nonetheless and I agree with Franklin in that I feel naked without the icon there.

I like Winpatrol's the best, Scotty is pretty cool *puppy*, but too bad it was a fiercer breed of dog.

These are what i like to see. (Except for Soundman, which isn't really needed.) Think my faves are the clock and Avast.
PS, interesting the number of different themes in use, here.

I rearranged mine, just to show mainly security software. I usually keep them hidden.

I forgot to mention, the best icon for me was that of NeoavaGuard beta, smart n blue in color, i especaially liked its red flashing on blocked events. Can,t post as it,s no more on my system.

Another icon that I like is that of FastStone Image Viewer, very nice and elegent looking. Sorry to say- SAS tray icon, I don,t like!
