False Positive on DefenseWall V3 Beta Download

    The Eset engine in HitMan Pro, continues to flag both DefenseWall and the just released DefenseWall Personal FireWall.

    Quite frankly, I don't care if it gets fixed or not since I don't use Defensewall.
    I thought I was being helpful by providing a direct download link for Eset to use. If they don't want to fix it, that's their prerogative.

    The FP with Defensewall.exe has been known for months.

    So unlikely to be corrected soon :blink: :p

    Makes me wonder how they get the advanced award from AV comparitives. Just goes too show how things really are in the real world.

    Hello,

    I just downloaded SoftSphere Technologies DefencePlus v2.20, DefencePlus Server Edition v2.20, DefenceWall HIPS v2.56 and DefenseWall Personal Firewall v3.00 and scanned them with threat signature database 4668 without a report of malware.

    Can you please confirm whether or not this is still occurring on your system and, if so, which version of ESET's software and signature database is in use?

    I downloaded the four versions of DefenseWall and ran a full system scan without NOD32 notifying. I am running NOD32 AV version 4.0.474.0 with signature 4668.
    Thank you for addressing and solving this issue.
