F-Secure Online Scanner - does it install anything?

    Does it just run and scan as MicroTrend's Housecall does or does it install any programs?

    No, just download their small online-scanner app (4mb) and run it.

    Thanks, so it seems similar to TrendMicro Housecall.

    You're welcome. It's been ages since the last time I used TM's Housecall, antispyware at that time I think. If I remember correctly it was some sort of active-x inside the browser.

    I prefer Housecall's custom scanning capabilities.
