    Hi there,

can anybody explain me, why a certain external USB HD is being correctly recognised by TI V6,
incorrectly recogniced as drive b: (only its first partition however) by TI v7
and not at all recognised by TI v8.
A usb HD of a different make works perfectly with all versions.

    Regards

    Hello ter29,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

We are really sorry for the inconveniences.

The problem is connected with drivers that are being changed from version to version. We do not support Acronis True Image 6.0 any more and since you have the eighth version let's slove the problem with it.

I suppose the USB drive is not recognised when you boot from Acronis Bootable CD rather then in Windows. Have you tried the "acpi=off noapic" method described at https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=55317? If it doesn't help please create the sysinfo.txt file (see the mentioned thread section II point b) and send to support@acronis.com along with the description of the problem.

    Thank you.
