explorer.exe not shutting down

Hi,

When I turn of my laptop it doesn't shutdown explorere.exe properly and I have to 'end' it.

It has only started doing it recently.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I have got a similar problem myself, although it only seems to happen if my machine has been on for a while (maybe an hour or two).

I have recently been disabling Windows Services to get a leaner machine, and think it might be related to that, although I have yet to find the cause yet.
