I see that Ewido is $30--My question is how long is this good for---1 year then renew or--lifetime---

Trojan hunter is lifetime--atleast untill he sells the company to someone--

Ewido is very promising and im thinking on purchasing the program. It would be a very good if it included lifetime updates with the purchase.

    Hi BrainWarp....

I don't know, but you could try their support, submit your question stating what you need to know.

This would be a good twofold idea.

    #1: You get your answer.

#2: You get to check out their response time. After all, if you are considering purchasing their product, I would want a response in under 2 hours max.

    :) SUPPORT QUERY

    Cheers, TAS

    Hey Tassie_Devils

You and i were on the same track--i already have sent them an e-mail--,but i dought they stay open 24hrs so i will wait and see how soon they answer.

It's a wonder that people here that have purchased the program don't know--thats one of the first things i find out.

    thx

That, I admit is a good point. I don't know how big the company is, etc. So yes I shal extend 'my time limit' to 24 hours, :D

I purchased it at the moment of 15 months updates for 1 year licence. I allready knew at that point this would rock the trojans :) so I purchased it. but I cannot see it anymore on their page. :(

On their website WAS a limited time offer: 15 month instead of one year. That offer is gone now so I suppose it is one year now.

    This is Ewido's reply

    Dear User,

currently we have a subscription-model which means you have to renew
your license after one year for $19.99. We are planning to introduce a
new model with lifetime progam- and signatures-updates for the version
you bought. In order to get the new features, you will then have to
upgrade for about $20 to the new version.

    Best regards,
    ewido networks support

So it looks like for lifetime updates your looking at $50--just like trojan hunter

I believe i did read on here somewhere that they are coming out with a newer version that uses less resources?

Atleast i hope--i see that it is using up 9.5 mgs in realtime where trojan hunter uses around 3mgs realtime

Yep, its 10 Mb here as well. That said I dont have a clue why is that to worry about......
I read somewhere here at Wilders an upgrade is coming this week, but cant remember that it is confirmed by any of the Ewido crew members.
