Eset Smart Security

I've just installed Eset Smart Security 3.0.135.0 beta version.
The first thing i want to ask, when i get e-mails by the 25 port it ads note: __________ Information from Eset Smart Security, version of virus signature database 2236 (20070503) __________

The message was checked by Eset Smart Security.

So the question is Does Eset Security Suite check e-mail messages using another port like gmail pop e-mail. And does Eset Security Suite check e-mails in Mozilla thunderbird e-mail program?

ESET Smart Security Public Beta 1a checks regular (encrypted) POP3 email. Support for other types of email will appear in the future.
