"Eset Personal Firewall Miniport" Missing

    Did a fresh install of NIC card and ESET. The entry "Eset Personal Firewall Miniport" is missing in tree in the Device Manager. What is it. Is it needed?

    I noticed this because the same entry is available under the wireless card.

    It was there before I did reinstall, as suggested by Marcos..

    is your FW working? If yes then I wouldn't think much about that entry being there or not
