Eset nod32 rc1..another update issue

    Everytime i try to update..automatic or manual i get this message...
    "Error creating temporary file"

    This occurs even after restarting or reinstalling the program.

    I have no problem updating.

    I am currently using the latest Virus signatures database : 2544 (20070921)

    I have not noticed any update issues and I am currently up to date. As a matter of fact I see improvement in scanning as well. I did not experience any hanging or freezing during the scan and it completed in under an hour.

    Hm, maybe you should check the system/user temp variables and folders to make sure they actually exist.

    I also get the same error message. And the updates have worked in the past.
    Where are the temp files created?

    First open My Computer . Choose Tools -> Folder Options.
    Now select the "View" tab. Under the Hidden files and folders section choose "Show hidden files and folders" . Confirm with OK.
