I just glanced through the manual for the beta of the ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server beta and I'm having a hard time figuring out the difference between it and NOD32. I see it's using the 4.3 engine, and adds automatic exclusions but other than that what is the difference?

Maybe someone sees something that I'm not seeing other than a name change devoted more to servers.

    Hello,

There are some internal file I/O and engine optimizations, but they are not adjustable/visible to the end user. Since ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server is derived from ESET NOD32 Antivirus the two programs are currently very similar, but this will change over time as they evolve in different directions based on requirements, customer feedback and so forth.

    Regards,
