eScan 14 beta

Nearly a month ago, MicroWorld has launched a beta for a new major release of eScan, skipping three versions and going to version 14.

New features are as follows:

1] New Tile GUI with Dashboard
2] Advanced Proactive Behavior Monitoring.
3] eScan Security Network (Cloud Protection).
4] Secure delete under Privacy Control.
5] Rescue Mode (without necessity to burn CD or USB).
6] USB Vaccination.
7] Virus Sample upload.
8] Advanced Reporting functionality
9] Simple License activation wizard
10] Windows Safe Mode Protection
11] Chrome browser support added for Privacy control
12] New Installation interface
13] File Reputation Checks using Cloud
14] Minor bugs corrected
15] SOHO products will not work on Server Operating Systems

Would someone please give it a try? I am way too busy at the moment.....

I think even the Anti-Virus version includes a firewall, but am not sure.

I like eScan products btw. I hope they have also upgraded engine of the free scanner.

 

As of right now; no. The release of new versions is currently slated for February. Around that timeframe, the free scanner will also be updated.

(Actually, MWAV is at version 12 whereas the actual eScan products are at version 11, so MWAV is ahead!)
