    I'm trying to build a BartPe disc. Just to boot into my box in case of unforseen issues. I only have a Dell XPsp2 re-install disc. I get several errors & warnings:

    Warning: building from an OEM version of Windows can mean trouble...

    Error: closeHive() failed: RegUnLoadKey (key="PEBuilder.exe-E:/pebuilder3110a/BartPE/i386/system32/config/petmphive") returned error 0: Access is denied.

    Cleanup temporarily files
    Error: DeleteFile() "E:\pebuilder3110a\BartPE\i386\system32\config\petmphive" failed
    Error: DeleteFile() "E:\pebuilder3110a\BartPE\i386\system32\config\petmphive.log" failed
    Error: DeleteFile() "E:\pebuilder3110a\BartPE\i386\system32\setuphiv" failed
    Error: DeleteFile() "E:\pebuilder3110a\BartPE\i386\system32\setuphiv.log" failed

    Checking for missing files
    Warning: File "iastor.sys" not found
    Warning: File "A320RAID.SYS" not found
    Warning: File "aac.sys" not found
    Warning: File "cercsr6.sys" not found
    Warning: File "afamgt.sys" not found
    Warning: File "aarich.sys" not found
    Warning: File "NvAtaBus.sys" not found
    Warning: File "nvraid.sys" not found
    Builder has stopped because there are 4 build errors
    Building done...
    There where 4 errors and 9 warnings

    Obviously I haven't tried to boot w/ this disc but I'd like to have a full working copy.

    Hi Screamer

    The warnings on the drivers, not found. What you need here is the drivers, with the txtsetup.oem file. You place these in a separate folder under the Bartpe drivers folder.

    On the other errors. What are you pointing BartPe at for the Windows files. A typical recovery disk won't work. You need a full fledged Windows XP CD. Additionally it should be SP2

    Aside from the drivers, you actually need a Windows XP CD. The recovery disk won't do. The drivers are a separate issue. Those you might find online. The recovery CD you have is probably an image filie.
