    hey everyone

    sorry, being a bit of a noob here, just installed migrate os to ssd on my desktop, running with win 7 64bit sp1 - and after checking hardware, I am getting an error message 'cannot copy os to target disk"

    'Unfortunately, due to program error, we couldn't copy the OS. The following error has occurred: "Bad parameter or function" (error code: 0x1100).

    not quite sure, what I can change about that, but maybe someone else ran into this sort of trouble and has some advice?

    it would go well appreciated! thanx in advance, c

    There is error 0x1100a which is related to Volume Shadow Copy Service.

    Please try the following;
    * right click on My Computer -> Manage -> Services ->
    * find Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service and start it. Set also to start automatically

    Then run Migrate OS to SSD once again. Does it work?

    If not, please post here screenshot of Windows Disk Management and Log files:

    Windows Disk Management screen:
    * right-click on 'My computer' and choose 'Manage';
    * select 'Disk Management' in 'Storage';
    * maximize the window;
    * click 'PrintScreen' key on the keyboard to capture the screen into the Windows Clipboard;
    * paste the image and save it as JPG, GIF or PNG file;
    * post it here

    Log files: find "PWLOG.TXT", "STUBACT.LOG", "BioNTlog.TXT" in "C:\Program Files\Paragon Software\[Program Name]\Program" and post them here.
