    I am running winXP Pro with 512mb DDR. I have a 40gb HD that is partitioned
    into 4 parts.

    C = Operating System, 10 gb
    D = Program Files, 3gb
    E = data, 10gb
    F = graphics art, remainder of HD

    I just installed Acronis True Image 8.0 and when I went to make the image of
    the C drive, I got the following error:

    E00640068:Failed to create the scheduled task
    Failed to create the scheduled task Error #1722 - "The RPC server is
    unavailable"

    The image I was trying to creat was NOT across the web or to another pc on a network. All I wanted to do and think I did set it up correctly, was to split
    the image and save to my F-drive.

    Any help is appreciated, Thank You

    A little more information for this question. I uninstalled Acronis 8 and reinstalled Acronis 7 and it did just exactly what I wanted it to do. It split the images as directed and save to the hard drive for easy burning. At least something is working right LOL o_O
