Error Creating Temp File Cannot Update

    Hi I am unable to update the virus definitions because the program is saying that it cannot create a temp file.

    I have no paging file and my temp directories are on a ram drive. Is there a work around. I am running an ssd hence why I have placed temp directories on RAM.

    Can I manually update.

    No manual update (as in you copying av definitions). Maybe create a minimum size paging file (other software will complain about the lack of it)

    Hello,

    Have you verified that both the system and user temporary file directories are pointing to the RAM drive?
