Error 1921 - Can't Install/Update/Uninstall

    Seems ESS 5.0.65 is so ****ing secure, that it can't uninstalled vor upgrade to a newer version itself ;)

    Getting the following error when starting 5.0.84 or .65:
    Code:
    Error 1921. Service 'ESET Service' (ekrn) could not be stopped.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to stop system services.
    ESS is not listed under software, but is running and working :/

    Any possibility to stop the deamon manuelly or repair/uninstall .65?

    This solves the problem... except i lost all my configurations :/

    Seems ESS didnt work with ShrewSoft VPN 2.1.7 on XP 32bit SP3... (cant get any network connection if both drivers loaded)
