ERAC/ERAS - InPlace Upgrade?

Hi all

The V5 documentation is quite clear - uninstall V4 ERAC/ERAS before installing V5.

Well, after reconfiguring SIX separate ERAS/ERAS installs, with packages, SMTP settings, Notifications, View/Hide columns etc. I'd like to understand if there's a better way. In-place upgrade? Backup/restore of settings?

I'm filled with dread when I see there's already a beta of ESET 6 available. Am I going to have to go through all this again??

"2.2.3.5 Installation over previous versions
ESET Remote Administrator 5 supports installation over previous versions, including data migration. Direct installation
is supported only over versions 3.x and 4.x - to install ERA 5 over versions 1.x and 2.x you must first install version 3.x or
4.x and then install version 5.x."
