So what exactly is the score with this version?
I've noticed Alcyon is producing rulesets for this version now.

    Does this mean its ok?
Is it still a stupid 3 hour only trial?

EASTER/ALCYON what do you guys make of this release?
You two seem to be the main custodians of this product and it was your v3.41 postings that made me try and ultimately stick with EQS.
I always go back to this package after testing others.

Is it the same program or has it been changed/ruined/amended?

I look forward to any replies that can shed light on any of the above.

    :D

Smiggy, I've only worked with v4.2 for approximately 6 hours with a backup so I'm not sure if it's really a 3 hours trial and I can't tell much about this new version. After a bunch of stress tests, it seems very stable. There's a problem with "Access to physical memory" and of course, a decent translation is missing but the sandbox is a nice addition. Some may like it, some not. Btw, I don't work on this project anymore.

Thanks for the update Alcyon, and also for all the work you did with rulesets for EQS.

I'm still using 3.41 and will continue to do so until something equally as good, and free, comes along to replace it.

Good luck with your new projects!

Tried D+, just found the whole program 'clunky'.
Pop-ups were annoying and the GUI was just awful to negotiate.

Personal opinion but not impressed at all.
My CPU took a hammering too, however light it was supposed to be.

Give Malware Defender a try. Sure it's not free, but it will give you a good benchmark.

    Yee Hooo!

Well, as soon as i dive into 4.2 a little more i would be glad to share my satisfactions and/or dissappointments with this version compared to the POWERHOUSE earlier ones, that BTY i am still using to this day and tweaking rules. ;)

Back with more info as it becomes available for me to pass along with all.
