Emsisoft not detect a virus in a zipped file

    Good, but other products out there detect it in real-time, even double-zipped archives and 7-zip self extracting archives. This is done by using file size limits. Yes, most products don't scan archives by default and those that do have a file size limit on archives. But most products do give you the option, and IMO Emsisoft should too :)

    No need. EAM is efficient. Malware in archives stay dormant until they are extracted. EAM will detect and quarantine them in realtime. Simple and no need to worry. EAM got you back. EAM is also flexible allowing on-demand scans of archives.

    I don't know much about the extended benefits of AV detecting malware inside double-zipped archives and 7-zip self extracting archives. But if the only argument is that other products offer so, I don't believe the feature needs to added. If it does have benefits then why not. It'd would be better if you guys just ask in the emsisoft forum or in the helpdesk for the addition of realtime archive scanning and detection.:)
