Nice but why is it so big? I was under the impression it was just an on demand scanner. Is there more to it than just that?

Well then it is just about time you do a bit more reading then.

    • Comprehensive PC protection against viruses, trojans, spyware, adware, worms, bots, keyloggers and rootkits.
    • 2 combined scanners for cleaning:
      Anti-Virus + Anti-Malware
    • 3 guards against new infections:
file guard, behavior blocker and surf protection

So this is more of an AV then. I'll keep that in mind when it comes time to renew my current AV which I'm planning not to do. Maybe I'll go with this instead.

If you purchase Emsisoft Anti-Malware through SurfRight you also get a one year license for Hitman Pro included.

It is light, I don't know what you talking about. You shouldn't have the panda dancing around it. :D

Might not be the lightest but it's not heavy unless you are doing an On Demand scan with the current version.
Version 6 is extremely optimized for On Demand scan :D

And they do quite well in almost all tests :thumb: :D

V5 is definitely not the lighest, but new version 6 beta has shown that it use a low resources all around, including when doing on demand scan. Much much faster :D
