Emet by Microsoft

    I am a long time user of ESET SS.
    I am wondering if you all have heard of the Security tool by Microsoft called EMET.
    Do I need this when running ESET SS?
    Seems like duplication to me.
    I have never had luck with Microsoft products.
    Would appreciate your thoughts.

    Sounds like a duplicated name, but EMET is the Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit.
    EMET give different permissions and monitoring processes used by third-party software.

    I have had EMET on my puter now for 1 day. Nothing negative to say about it.
    Have no idea if it's going to do any good.
    No impact on response time that I can see.
    All programs entered have not caused any problems.

    Running Vista Business, K-Meleon, ESET SS, Ccleaner, Defraggler, Slim PDF, Windows Photo Gallery,
    Powerpoint, Faststone capture, Infrarecorder. Erase dvd, Bridge base online, Gmail backup,
    Sweepi
