The last article of the year is a long, largely negative review of elementary OS 0.3 Freya (beta) 64-bit edition, tested and installed in a quad-boot configuration on a laptop with Intel graphics and SSD, including look & feel, network connectivity - Wireless (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Samba, multimedia playback - Flash and MP3, partitioning, applications, system resources, stability, suspend & resume, and many problems like browser, file manager and software updater crashes, broken printing, issues with window screenshots and minimize action, installer slideshow, Flash playback and browser support, Software Center, missing basic software, and more.

I remember waiting patiently for it, and then eventually giving up...

I hope the final release will be better than this!

I've been using Luna for quite some time now on an older 8.9" screen Dell Vostro Mini Netbook, man I love it.
