Eicar test file & ESS v4

    Hi

    When i try to download the eicar virus test file http://www.eicar.org/download/eicar_com.zip ESS v4 does not display the threat notification balloon, instead it just blocks the website link though obviously it does quarantine the file. Why is this happening? I already have the "display alerts" box checked under alerts and notifications.

    My guess is that you have set your browser to active mode by marking it as a browser in the HTTP scanner setup.
