    Overview

DUN AC, or Dialup Networking Auto-Connection, is a small utility that monitors your Dialup or Broadband connection and re-connects you immediately if you get disconnected. This is especially handy for those whom are with ISP's such as Freeserve that have "cut off" points of 2 hours.

    In addition to this, DUN AC features include;

    - Connection monitor
    - Auto-reconnection
    - Incoming/outgoing traffic logging
    - RAS compliant
    - AOL compliant *
    - Low CPU/resource usage
    - Fully automated (does not require user intervention)
    - Optional loading with Windows

    * Only if you have your AOL password saved within the AOL software

    Updates

    - Added: Re-written DUN/RAS query procedure
    - Added: Improved help menu

    - Removed: Registry dependancy (now uses ini file for settings)

    - Modified: Logging routine
    - Modified: Homepage URL's
    - Modified: Initial DUN/RAS startup routine
    - Modified: Improved "Send to tray" routine
    - Modified: Check for update routine

    - Misc: Updated EULA/Read Me
    - Misc: Other minor modifications

    Notes:

When DUN AC initially loads, it will check both the connection state and the settings. If you are NOT connected and no dial-up account specified it will prompt you to set one in the DUN AC settings. If you ARE connected, it will not prompt you (it will just use the connection thats already active instead).

    Hi The Mu

I have an ISP that will make you wait one minute after a disconnect until you can reconnect. Will DUN AC still work for me? Thanks. :)

It is very hard to say whether It will work or not, but u have nothing to lose by giving It a go and If It does not work then u can always remove this small utility.
I have not tried this programme myself, as I dont have a problem with being cut off, but It costs nothing to give It a go.
