    Is DSA from Privacyware also a firewall?

    Thanks! I had this question because when I had DSA running, Vista firewall kept on shutting off, and I wasn't sure why.

    That's one odd feature of the new version. In version 1.x, it wouldn't start the DSA firewall component (supposedly) if it detected another firewall running. Now it seems to shut down the previously installed firewall and run its own (with the the Windows firewall at least).

    Does AVIRA security suite go well with DSA? I am trying it out and know the built in firewall could use an extra HIPS for measure. How about ESS 3.0?
