Installed this Beta. Very slow opening IE and system all locked up after un-install.
Never, ever had any trouble or slowdown with Dr. Web before, but this is no good!

It seems I am missing something here.
Dr Web has a "new" forum and it is segmented into Russian, English and Beta. However, the "beta" section is in Russian only.
How do you give them feedback in English?
    Cheers :)

    yeah, i did read it.

but you forget, this is beta1, and a new beta at that.

have you reported your bugs for fixing?

I don't forget it's a 1st beta, but I really don't understand, that even a beta acts that bad. I just guess, they played around with it for a while before putting it out. Hope they're not following Nod32 when the first v.3 came out!
Never had any trouble at all with Dr. Web and therefore I'm a bit disappointed, that's all.
And yes, I reported my experience.

alot of feedback as been positive, such as being more snappier on performance.

i myself have my own issues with it, as i did with the alphas, but i report them and they get addressed.

..thats a beta experience for you. :)

Submitted some bugs. Seems ok, nothing Quantum.
Have some BSOD issues, suddenly my Vista shows a BS and then reboots immediately. After reboot, no error reports or any details in event log o_O This is happening on random, lets hope it doesn't happen too frequently :p

Apart from that no ground breaking problems, nothing you don't expect to see in beta.

not having to many issues ive had a few restarts and a bsod once. but otherwise it seems to run okay. im really wanting to test the full suite to see, i dont notice to many changes though as you said they must mainly be internal

i do notice a bit faster startup and the pc feels a bit quicker as others mentioned im running this and eset ess4 on different machines so im testing both..

You are where you are supposed to be .... :)
Click on the "x86" and d/l ..... when that is complted, click on the "beta key" and d/l.
When completed, close the browsser, and go into the folder you had saved both of those files, and launch the "x86" file. After installation, you can go into registration and point to the "beta key file".

    Hope that helps :)
    Cheers :)

Some users disable DOS 8.3 in XP to save resources, however, things like this will happen.
To enable it, you need to change it in the registry (regedit).
Someone else may be able to provide the specific instructions to do that (I am hesitant, got burnt once trying to help with a registry problem).
    OR
    You can "google" it .......
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOUR PC DOES NOT WORK AFTER DOING THIS PROCEDURE. IF YOU ARE USING XP, HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS.
    Enable 8.3 filenames:
    1. Click the Windows Start menu (lower left corner of your desktop).
    2. Select Run, type regedt32, and then click OK to run the Registry Editor.
    3. Double-click the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder, then the SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet and Control folders.
    4. Single-click the FileSystem folder.
    5. Double-click the NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation value on the right hand side of the window
    6. Type the number 0 in the Edit DWORD Value box, and then click OK.
    7. Quit the Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.
    Hope that helps :)
    Cheers:D

Same here. I am testing Dr.Web betas since a long time and they were always great, but this one is really more alpha than beta. However it has some good features, but i had to switch back to 4.44 and will wait till next beta is out.
