Driver easy.

Has anybody used this driver update software?
Its free on a computer magazine cd.
Any opinions on this please.

 

I haved used the free version DriverEasy every since it was first published, and once purchased a licence for the paid version.

It works quite well, but I don't like the fact that it does not list the version numbers of the existing drivers or the newer drivers it finds. Also I have seen rare cases where it incorrectly thinks an installed driver is older than it really is. (It is not the only driver update software I have seen to do this).

Worth a try, however, I prefer the Chinese software Driver Genius.
