No official word from any forum reps?

I know a GUI doesn't improve the product, but for new users, or say if you install it on an older PC for example, owner being a novice, they'll feel more comfortable with a program that has an easy to use layout.

Better GUI + good product = more sales. Dr Web, let's do it, this month! :p

one on topic post, if i remember correctly:rolleyes: when i am using zonealarm security suite v7, the virus signature number displaying in about dialog is 9 million something:eek: . now ZIS has v9.1 so i expects it will be more than this. so i can not imagine how many signature they have now( for ex: they may not able to say it in numerical values how much it is now i believe;) ), because i am not using it currently so i can not tell you people how much it is.;)
may be Fax know it correctly. sorry Fax dude bring you in to the conversation.:p

There is no way you could make them do something others have tried for years. :D

Well, ZA 9 uses the same engine/DAT as Kaspersky products. Honestly I no idea how many they are. I don't think that the AV DAT number in ZA 9 refers to number of detections.

    Cheers,

Today is THE DAY. Dr Web passed the 1 mln mark of malware signatures... Sorry Threedog, they seem to gather signitures much "faster", than you've expected.

How far along is this beta? Come on dr, I know one staff member would be reading. Let's get the launch codes out and press the red 'launch' button.

If it's been so long since the button was pushed, I'll kick the doors down and do it. :shifty: Those rogues are pumping out new GUIs each day. Some of them look great. Get one of those guys on-board! They'll do it for you overnight.

The new GUI and quarantine is out today for 64-bit versions of Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 R2.
