True Image is recognizing my DVD burner, but when I to create hard disk image on DVD burner, it say "D drive (which is DVD burner) is not accessible." I removed True Image and reinstalled. I turned off the computer and rebooted. But it still gives the same message.

By the way, I did not put blank DVD in.

    Thanks.

    Covered in the manual.
You have to use a disc that's UDF formatted (InCD, DirectCD) in the drive for it to be written. You're better off writing the image to HD in smaller chunks, then burning to DVD later using any sort of burning you like.

Thanks. I will read the manual. I downloaded the program and manual didn't come with it. Never thought about reading the manual.

    Hello puter,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please make sure that you use the latest build (937) of Acronis True Image 8.0 which is available at: http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/

To get access to updates you should create an account at:
    http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/
then log in and use your serial number to register your software.

Please also make sure that you have an appropriate UDF DVD-writing software installed and all of your DVDs are properly UDF formatted according to this FAQ article.

Please let me know if the problem still persists.
