nod32 max settings but I set it up to always ask me before doing anything if ever it detects something.
yes defaults for me as i do alot of on demand scanning and normally when i tend to play with settings i tend to mess stuff up
I am always running Eset on maximum settings.... Why... because I cannot see a slowdown on my Pc performance. And I really like to explore any of mine programs, to see what there is under the hood
I tweak when I can Panda Cloud & ClearCloud do not have much of anything to tweak so I keep the default. Windows Defender: I set Spynet to Advance and Protection to Maximum on all my machines.
I always tweak configuration to suite my needs. I modify HIPS, Firewall, Custom scan, Exclusion, Password protection, and other settings.
Depends on my needs. Sometimes, the default settings are fine whereas on others, I need to tweak it to either max out on the sensitivity level if I deem the detection capabilities at default settings isn't good enough or minimize the sensitivity level if the app produces too much FP to my liking. I also tweak the settings to minimize the load on CPU/RAM... And there are also times when I need to tweak it to improve compatibility. The key point here is to achieve overall balance or moderation.
I always modify it, especially if the AV/AM has HIPS or FW components. For the AV part, I usually turn Web Antivirus heuristics to high and leave the on-access file scanner on default settings, because with some AVs it gives a noticable slowdown. Not a large slowdown, but still annoying enough.
