Do Scheduled Tasks need Acronis running?

    If I set up a monthly scheduled task to do an image of my C: drive, does Acronis need to be open for the scheduled task to happen?
    I've created a Scheduled Task and it does not appear in the Windows Schedule Tasks list in the Control Panel app.?

    Scheduled tasks will start at the appropriate time and you don't have to load Acronis in anticipation of a task starting. You can test this by scheduling a daily task and setting a start time so you can observe that it works ok.
