Hi there me Nautical Natty ;)

That there was a very special limited edition timepiece......I believe it was the Bavarian Ed'meister 2000 model. Originally the Ed'meister cuckoo centrepiece was designed as part of a novelty soldier range and came fully dressed in a set of battle fatigues.

Sadly for all involved, the range had to be discontinued due to an integral design flaw.

Every hour on the hour the Ed'meister Cuckoo would announce itself with the unfortunate cry of " You try and be all you can be with a spring stuck up your...." As luck would have it the Ed'meister Cuckoo would return to the clock before completing the sentence.

There will now follow a gratutious reprinting of the Ed'meister 2000 clock:-
