Any experience, anyone, with this product?
I have a positive experience with DiskCryptor, in terms that it does what it says on my system
Not yet, but I plan to encrypt my laptop system disk with DiskCryptor after installing Windows 7 RTM next month. I've read a lot of the documentation on the website and the developer sounds knowledgeable, plus there is a plugin for Bart PE so you can create a rescue boot CD. If you try it please post again and give us a report.
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and DC is working fine. It took about 3 hrs. or so for this 250GB drive to encrypt.
Great! Did you have to do anything special when installing or was it completely transparent?
It was completely transparent, yes.
Thanks! By the way, was a plugin for BartPE included when you installed DiskCryptor?
Yes, BartPE plugin is put into the subfolder of an installation folder.
I used DiskCryptor two days ago to encrypt my netbook, and I am really happy with it. There are no performance impacts who would slow down everything - this is at least my experience.
