Is there free tool ACHI compatible able to find bad sectors?

My alternative to MHDD (that isn't AHCI compatible) is HDAT2, but i don't find it reliable at all... Any good alternatives?

    Thanks in advance :thumb:

What version of HDAT2 are you using?

I have to check it tomorrow to be sure, but i think is 4.53.
I don't find it reliable because HDAT2 reported 0 bad sectors, but MHDD found 5 bad sectors and HDD Regenerator fixed 6 bad sectors and solved the problem (occasional blue screen and shutdown)...

Some newer HDAT2 versions had some tests disabled, but I believe that version is OK.

Others you could try are HD Tune, HDDScan, chkdsk /r, and hard disk manufacturer utilities.
