    Hello Zardoc,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

Please download the latest version of Acronis drivers, install it with disabled logging and see if the problem still persists.

If the problem still persists then enable logging by running the Acronis drivers installation package once again, reproduce the problem and collect the c:\snapapi.log file.

Please also create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post and submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.

All done since the last post.

This seems to be a repeated problem.

I have seen other posts with multi users complaining about this issue.

What does Acronis have to say about it??:ninja:

I must admit that not getting clear answers to known problems bothers me a bit.

No one as yet to answer the same issues on the forum.

    :(

So I f I get this right from another post, this seems to be Norton related because I have it.

I will test this idea this week and try it.

    But my question still remains,

Will there be a work around with Disk director in order to avoid uninstalling anti virus software and disk director and reinstalling everything for this to work??

    Thanks o_O

Seems to be a common problem going by previous posts within forum. Have been totally unable to partition drive even when Zone Alarm and McAfee disabled from starting. Also have RAID installed (Stripe). Looks as though may be heading for refund request unless efficient workround found. snapapi.log file availableWindows XP SP2,80GB HDD X2, 1GB RAM, AMD XP2400 CPU.
