Disk Director 9

I have DDS9 and I wanted to burn a bootable CD. I searched these forums
for some advice but every bit of what I find does nothing to fix the problem.

I just did a clean install of windows and installed all my software about four
days ago, and now I want to burn a bootable cd. I tried:
burning in safe mode.
unchecking the "enable cd recording on this drive"
leaving the CD drawer open with the disk inserted

I not only got the error when trying to burn the CD, but when I removed the
check in the "enable cd recording on the drive" I would get the error that says
E:\ is not accessable.

I rechecked the "enable cd recording on this drive" but still get the error when
trying to burn, either in safe mode or regular user mode.

The box of CD-RW's has five in the box and I just bought them. I did notice
that after I attempted to make the first burn, the CD-RW was no longer
blank but showed that about 17 MB's had been recorded but I get a blank
window when I try to get windows to read the contents of the disk.

Has anyone else here run into this?
