    Glad to see that list has been updated to keep up with recent developments... Anyway yeah, the summary covers pretty much all the current issues. IMO it's rather telling that most of them involve the developers' attitudes.

    One thing I'd disagree on (from the larger list) is that software development is a PITA - not because it isn't, but because it's just as painful on Windows, especially when dealing with third-party libraries.

    At the end the author even states that he thinks Windows has almost as many problems as Linux on the desktop:

    "If you get an impression that Linux sucks - you are largely wrong. If I had to create a list of Windows problems, it would be almost as long as this one"
