    Hi,

    I am a long time owner of TI since version 6.

    I am using version 8, build 937

    I created an image on an external usb hardrive and can explore it from TI running in Windows 2000. I made a boot CD using build 937 also.

    I then boot the CD on a new Dell Precision 380 and the software boots fine but TI will not see the external drive (nor will it detect USB keyboard and mouse). I have seen a message posted on September 4 by someone else with the same problem on Dell Precision 380. Has Acronis fixed this yet?

    Thanks,

    Bob

    Hi,

    In a few place you say to type in at the Linux prompt: (after quiet)

    acpi=off noapic

    Is this a typo? what is "noapic"? Should it be "noacpi"?

    This has to do with power management but the problem seems to be TI does not recognise the USB ports on the Dell Precision 380 o_O
