Yes, I'm aware. Currently- no discounts, but if you need one, I can manage it.

Looking forward to buying it. I think I may turn off AppLocker once it's installed and remove WinPatrol PLUS.

If you're tempted to play around with the advanced features, rest assured, you don't need to.

As long as you go through all the apps you think should run as 'untrusted', right-click on them and add them to the list (most of them should already be in the built-in list), that's all you need to do.

Run an on-demand scan from time to time (not that any files it finds can do anything), and that's it.

I've noticed that everything just works out of the box - it's awesome.

Naturally, I've had a look through the advanced settings but found that everything was spot on. The only change I've made is to add a 'Download Area'. The DefenseWall help file has been most helpful too. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Highly recommended!

Ilya is also generous, he has giveaways as prizes in the past. ;)

Aside from it simplicity and system protection that it gives to pc, another things I'd like on this program is the Secured Files protection that you can put any folder you want...untrusted programs couldn't touch what's put into this area. Also the simple firewall "control"...that you can add any files or programs you've suspected to have trojans or that you don't like it to connect outside and choose a pre-made rule to Deny for untrusted and trusted rule.

    So cool.

Whilst I loved the idea behind DefenseWall, I found that it slowed certain programs just a little too much for my liking (mainly browser and media apps).

The one thing I could not fault was Ilya's support - top notch in every regard. Anyone interested in DefenseWall should definitely try it out; any questions to Ilya will be answered in double time.

Meanwhile, use OA. It's just as good but works for x64.
