    Hi

Was wonder if any one could help me.

    Background.
I've got a Windows 2003 box, which originally had 3x74gb SATAs in RAID 5 with a C: partition of 12GB and D: partition of 136GB. The box has a CERC SATA RAID controller. I've successfully added another 3x80GB to the array. Moved the D: partition a little bit across to the unallocated space. Resized c: to 32GB.

    Problem.
When I tried to resize the d: partition it shoots out with an error - System Error: Unable to create volume snapshot. In DDS 10, the d: partition has a red X icon.

I first suspect it was bad sectors, so I ran a chkdsk, but did not report any bad sectors.

I've tried to use diskpart but get the error "The volume you have selected may not be extended. Please select another volume and try again."

Does any one have any idea what I should try next.
    Thanks in advance

I used the CD and worked like a charm. I guess Windows 2003 was locking the partition some how....
