The homepage indicates version 2.14. Anyway, what were the changes in 2.13?

There is a new version 2.14 out - I've been trying to find out the changes myself. Going through the CWSChronicles hasn't helped! Nor could I find anything on InterMute's site!

    Hi all,

What exactly is going on, I don't know.
Maybe they are at this moment in the middle of updating.
But maybe there was a little error.
I would advice to wait a little bit longer; I'm sure we'll know in a day or two.

The problem as I see it at this moment:

    1.
    This site:
    http://www.intermute.com/products/cwshredder.html
    tells at the moment:
    CWShredder™ Version 2.13
    Released: February 2005

    2.
    This site:
    http://www.intermute.com/spysubtract/cwshredder_download.html
    tells at the moment:
    CWShredder™ Version 2.14
    Released: February 2005

So, let us all please be a little patient !!! ;)
Please give those guys the time to fix it (either what those sites tell us, or update that nice program itself).

    Warm regards, Jan.

And replying to my own previous posting some minutes ago:

As always a HASH checksum gives you a bit more info ;)

    I had already 2.13 stored.
I replaced it from that site that tells at the moment 2.13.
    I made a new folder for that so-called 2.14.

    So, what did I get?

Two file integrity checkers has been used ;)

    1.
    DiamondCS CryptoSuite using MD5.
    Results:

The file <D:\CWShredder\Version 2_13\CWShredder.exe> has the following Checksum(s)

    MD5 - D6A1EFC99C7908C1F8092EE5AC8E0B3B
    ---------------------------------------------------
The file <D:\CWShredder\Version 2_14\CWShredder.exe> has the following Checksum(s)

    MD5 - D6A1EFC99C7908C1F8092EE5AC8E0B3B

    2.
Now NIS File Check using RMD160.
    Results:

    2-a:
    Application: d:\cwshredder\version 2_13\cwshredder.exe
    Status: Unchanged
    Version old: 2.13
    Size old: 465040
    Date old: 2005-02-07 21:17:42
    RMD160 Hash old: B5919566ECE1F830BC23CBA0E6DA1D3C51CCA44D

    2-b:
    Application: d:\cwshredder\version 2_14\cwshredder.exe
    Status: New added
    Version old: 2.13
    Size old: 465040
    Date old: 2005-02-09 01:11:24
    RMD160 Hash old: B5919566ECE1F830BC23CBA0E6DA1D3C51CCA44D

    Conclusion:
At this moment the version is 2.13

    ;)

    Hi Nick :)

    No worries my friend !
We all are human, we all make mistakes; certainly I do

As I wrote, the Intermute site itself was not consistent.

    Most warmest regards, Jan.

They added CWS.Look2Me....how many of the 8 variants it looks for I'm not sure yet.

The CWSChronicles have now been updated to include what they refer to as "CWS.Look2Me". This might seem a little confusing because Look2Me is a VX2 variant, rather than CWS. But it seems that VX2 and CWS are starting to be found together, hence InterMute's decision to widen the ambit of CWShredder.
