    Now the CPU average usage is 14%, hoping that the next release will make it less CPU hungry like the earlier versions, :D
    Now it's back with the idle 5% usage, I really need to find a solution with the my laptop's temperature problem. LOL.

    Does it really have to be google? :D, BTW does file analysis use cookies? ( I've only read how KAD file analysis worked a while ago and got curious.) (It's the reason why my System Ninja keeps finding history of browsing with IE and I don't use it at all. LOL. :D)

    Re: Kristal Security 2012 [0.0.1.x Beta]

    Hi,

    Yes, i started KAD rebuild from scratch on better programming language and CPU usage is very low again for now.
    (on windows 8 CPU usage show 0% almost all the time and memory usage about 2-3 megs without optimized code.
    With optimized code it should be even lower).

    Hope that i can soon publish this new rebuilt version :)

    Regards,
    Kardo

    Well, I really like what you have done here. You seem to have a really good business strategy...I like that. Have you set an ideal price point for Crystal Pro Security?

    I can understand that you can't disclose any price information at this time.

    If I am going to be a beta tester, do I private post you here on what I found good or wrong while using it?

    Hi,

    Crystal Security | Home Edition is now available for download.

    This is BETA version (2.4.0 Build 1).

    At this time there is available only portable version.
    Crystal Security will classify files real-time and there is currently available to manage only Blacklist/Whitelist section and Activity Monitor (right-click menus).
    There is also possibility to drag/drop files/folders to Activity Monitor and then automatic file(s) classification will start.

    Some screenshots of this Crystal Security BETA version:

    Re: Kristal Security 2012 [0.0.1.x Beta]

    Ok, got some feedback for ya :thumb: Here it goes...

    1. If the user doesn't have the latest .NET Framework, is there any way that the application can direct a person to the latest .NET Framework page, instead of them finding it on their own?

    2. At the top of the application, there is a progress bar that continuously keeps going. What exactly does this do a user may ask. It would be nice if the application indicates, for example...Analyzing or something along those lines, instead of a continuous progress bar, without any notification on what it's doing.

    3. Is there anyway to make dialog boxes more self explanatory? Maybe a less intrusive way on describing a process (Something more simple perhaps, but to the point?)

    4. When I wanted to deny an execution or even block the execution, it still allowed me to execute the program with no issue, shortly after...I receive this error message.

    Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click
    Quit, the application will close immediately.

    Method failed with unexpected error code 3.

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Please Note: I uninstalled and reinstalled .NET Framework to see if that would get rid of the error message....It did not. It looks as if .NET Framework is causing the problem, or Crystal Security is having issues on playing nice with .NET Framework....I don't know.

    I will continue on testing, and will report more if I find anything.

    I find programs that use .NET to have a lot of errors.
    I also encounter some using your softwares :p
