    try imgburn

use imgburn to make an iso on your hard drive - from your DVD -R. Then use imburn to burn a new DVD as +R

Nero is now too fat and isn't needed for anything

    Good to hear.

If you don't already use them try

DVD shrink (free - no longer supported or in development)
DVDdecrypter (free - no longer supported or in development

DVD Rebuilder - much better than any of the transcoders - worth buying

That is sort of a strange question to me as I have Nero 6 on here as my DVD shrink program needs it, and my Nero 6 will copy a- to a + It always has. and Ashampoo Burning Studio will do it everytime also. :thumb:

I still have Nero 6 but no longer installed. I made the mistake of buying the upgrade to 7.

I have read that Shrink requires Nero but I have it running on a machine without Nero. Perhaps Windows Sp2 is enough ?

DVD shrink prefers Nero but it will recognize several other burners and will work with them.:thumb:
