I'm confused. First you said you have NOD32 installed, and then you ended with "I don't have any anti-virus software installed. Do you mean you don't have any viruses in your pc? If your pc is clean of virus' why do you click delete (where ever that is)?

It sounds like some the Norton files are still present. Google for a remover.

I agree with Carver. NA is like cancer, you might not have gotten it all.
I also have NOD32 and I don't see any "scan delete". If I want to do a scan, I right click the icon, and when the window comes up I click the 5th option down "NOD32" and the right hand window comes up with the choices for an on demand scan. I click "On Demand', and let it do its thing. After the scan, having no viruses I click it closed.

What protection module offers you do delete malware ? Does this happen from the on-demand scan?

Perhaps there's something running that permanently checks for presence of the file detected and deleted by NOD32, just a hunch. A log from Hijackthis (google it) might shed more light - send it to support @ eset.com along with a link to this thread.

    Hi ey_dude, welcome to Wilders.

Please download and run the NORTON REMOVAL TOOL then uninstall and reinstall a fresh copy of NOD32.

    Cheers :D

What I did was format comp and reinstall Windows. Yes, it took time but I didn't want leftovers from Norton and any problems which may appear later.
Bro had Symantec AV Corp so the Norton removal tool didn't work. The instructions from symantec didn't say anything about some registry keys which were related to symantec so I thought screw this and reinstalled Windows.
Uncles comp was formatted not long ago and had Kaspersky IS trial so uninstalling it shouldn't have been as bad as Norton. I installed NOD32 on it today.
