    JR, good article there.

    It's a shame no free products are as good as Foxit pdf editor or NitroPDF professional, or even adobe pro.

    On the cheap, for free, this is still decent for splitting pages, adding pages:
    http://portableapps.com/apps/office/pdftk_builder_portable.

    I found it difficult to find one that could add metadata to PDFs, for free. Finally found a useful tool. It's clean, and is a stand-alone file:

    BullZip sounds good though.
