Comodo firewall and Avast 9

I've looked through the threads\posts on this combo, Avast and comodo firewall and wound up a bit confused, I can find topics saying that avast 6, 7 and possibly 8 were not good to go with comodo firewall (this proxy web thing) but I couldn't find anything re Avast 9 and comodo FW 6xxx....Do they lay together well now, I was more than happy with WFC but I see that it still seemingly doesn't work with Avast...But I'm not prepared to let Avast go in favour of a firewall.
